Bologna, June 11, 2025 – The wait is over: today is the big day for Vasco Rossi fans . The first of two Bologna dates is underway, both sold out for over a year. There will be 77,000 “Vaschiani” who will fill the Dall'Ara stadium between today and tomorrow, many of whom have come from every corner of Italy to not miss the show ( photo ).
“We have been fans for over 30 years, since we were teenagers. A friendship born on the notes of Vasco ”, say four smiling gentlemen, all wearing the same t-shirt: 'Are we the only ones?', in homage to one of Blasco's most iconic songs. “I come from Massa, I have been following Vasco since I have known music, I think. He is my favorite artist ever and this is my sixth concert”, says a girl with Vasco's armband tied to her arm, excited as if it were the first time.

“We come from Brescia, we have been following him for 25 years . It is our second concert, and we expect the best from him, as always”, adds another group of fans, full of energy. “Vasco has been my favorite singer since I was 10, now I am twenty. The first concert was in 2015. I have already come in 2023 too”, says a young fan , entirely dressed Vasco-style: cap, t-shirt and a contagious enthusiasm.

And Bologna 2023 was the rocker's last stop in the city: as he himself recalled today in his Instagram stories, it was then that he had a "poker sold out" . He also brought to mind his very first concert , in Bologna in 1979, in Piazza Maggiore, in front of "fifty, maybe a hundred people under the stage". The numbers today are very different: 77 thousand spectators in two days and a completely full stadium, between the pitch and the stands.
A sea of fans ready to sing at the top of their lungs, already celebrating since 6 pm, when the pre-show began with the emerging bands chosen by Vasco to open his concerts. In April, in fact, he launched the registrations for the Zocca Paese della Musica Festival 2025 , offering young groups the chance to perform before his live shows. More than 500 applications received, 12 bands selected to open the tour dates.
Tonight in Bologna it was the turn of the 'Load', a band from Bologna and the 'La Raffi' , tomorrow it will be the turn of ' Cindy & The Rock Hysteria' . Outside the stadium the delirium has already begun: stadium chants, “Olè olè olè, Vasco, Vasco!”, and the historic hits sung at the top of one's lungs. Even inside, the atmosphere is electric . “I've been following Vasco since I was very little, it's my first time in Bologna. What do I expect? Tears and emotions!”, says another fan, already in fibrillation in the “pratone”. Great anticipation therefore, for a show that – everyone says – “certainly won't disappoint us”.
